USACCA Code of Conduct
Guiding Principles for Cricket Coaching Practice
Introduction
This Coaching Code of Conduct sets out the standards and expectations for ethical and professional behaviour in coaching relationships. Adherence to these principles ensures the integrity of the coaching profession and fosters trust between coaches and their clients.
Coaches play a crucial role in the development of the game and in the lives of the players they coach. Good coaches ensure that all players have positive experiences and are therefore more likely to continue in the game and achieve their potential.

- Use social media responsibly, recognising that your online presence reflects on you, your athletes, and your organisation.
- Do not post, share, or endorse content that is offensive, discriminatory, harassing, or otherwise inappropriate.
- Maintain professional boundaries with athletes on social media. Avoid direct messaging or "friending" athletes unless necessary and always keep communication transparent and appropriate.

- Always comply with your organisation's social media and safeguarding policies.
